Setting up a LV
Create a new partition with type ‘Linux LVM (83)‘
$ fdisk -c /dev/vdb
Create a PV from the volume
$ pvcreate /dev/vdb1
$ vgcreate vg_my-poc-k3s_data /dev/vdb1
$ lvcreate -l 100%FREE -n lv_data vg_my-poc-k3s_data
Create a ext4 filesystem on the LV
$ mkfs.xfs /dev/mapper/vg_my--poc--k3s_data-lv_data
$ mount /dev/mapper/vg_my--poc--k3s_data-lv_data /mnt/data/
# You could also add the following line to /etc/fstab
/dev/mapper/vg_my--poc--k3s_data-lv_data /mnt/data xfs defaults 0 0
